Questions Before Scheduling a Handyman Project

Here are a few practical details that can help you plan your project and understand what to expect before the work begins.

  • Often, yes. Send us a brief description along with photos of the area and any relevant product information. We will review the details and let you know whether the project fits our services or may require another specialist.

  • Not necessarily. For doors, flooring, shelving, hardware, and other products where dimensions or compatibility matter, it is usually better to confirm the measurements first. If you have already purchased an item, send us the product link or model number so we can review it.

  • Some projects can be completed in a single visit, while others require additional time for preparation, drying, materials, or multiple stages of installation. We will explain the expected schedule after reviewing the scope of work.

  • Not always. We need access to the work area and a reliable way to contact you if questions come up. For some projects, it is helpful for you to be available at the beginning and during the final walkthrough.

  • We will explain what was discovered, how it affects the original scope, and what options are available. Any changes in the work or price will be discussed with you before additional work is completed.

  • Major structural work, emergency repairs, gas or sewer work, large electrical or plumbing projects, and work requiring specialized licensing or permits may need the appropriate contractor. After reviewing the details, we will let you know whether the project fits our handyman services.
